C4C | Thank you sponsors!

Below is our list of gracious sponsors, and how they will be helping us with our upcoming event (sponsors are listed in the order in which they came on board):

AJI/Software

Jeff Julian and John Alexander of AJI/Software have graciously hosted the C4C site, allowing us to suck up a ton of their bandwidth. In addition, the boys at AJI are going to spring for lunch on Sunday.

Centriq

Centriq Training will open their doors for us for the entire weekend of April 25 - 27, 2008. In addition, they will be providing fresh fruit and pastries on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Jacque is so cool, that she isn't. She's so un-cool, that she is.

MicrosoftMicrosoft will be providing copies of Visual Studio and MS Office for the charities to take home with them after the event. Also, we have managed to score some fleece vests (limited quantity), some Mix '07 tees, and some VS 2008 tees.

TEKsystemsTEKsystems has offered to buy our custom screen printed geeky C4C shirts! These high-fashion tees can be worn over and over again! Impress customers behind you in line at Home Depot with one of these amazing tee shirts!

TriComTriCom understands that geeks need caffeine. That's why they are stepping up to provide sodas and bottled water for the entire weekend! Check the fridge. Check it often. TriCom has also offered to buy everyone lunch on Saturday.

ModisWhen you arrive on Friday to kick things off, plan on a killer dinner provided by Modis! They'll be giving us the kick-off fuel we'll need to start designing our solutions!

TradebotEveryone in attendance will receive a gift bag full of goodies. Tradebot has hooked us up with those really nice bags that we're stuffing the goodies into! They're great for carrying stuff around (I used one this weekend to tote a change of clothes for my kids at Grandma's house!)

Community CreditDavid Silverlight with Community Credit has graciously offered to provide a whole bunch of goodies for the event! We are looking forward to see what everyone will get! Thanks again to Community Credit!

Midwest Consulting Group Midwest Consulting Group stepped up at the last minute and offered to pick up dinner for Saturday night. Many thanks to Lee Brandt and Midwest Consulting for helping out with the event!!

Looking for Partners

We are looking for partners to help sponsor this event. This is a charity event, and every donation helps. Below is is a brief list of some of the things that will need to be donated (or paid for):

  • Food! Snacks! We're going to have a lot of developers here for hours on end. We will need to keep them well fed. Anything that will keep them from going home for dinner, questioning why they signed up for this thing, and not coming back!
  • Beverages. Caffeine is every geek's friend. We will have access to a full sized fridge, and we would like to keep it stocked with cold sodas and water.
  • More caffeine - coffee. More coffee. And then a little more coffee.
  • Toiletries - one thing I noticed at We Are Microsoft is that we ran out of toilet paper quickly and had to run for the Charmin. We should be better prepared this time around.
  • Software - CMS applications, Visual Studio, SQL, etc.
  • Books - books on ASP.net, SQL, Silverlight, Scrum, Agile development, etc. Anything that you think a charity will benefit from after this event is over.
  • Awards - we'd like to give something to the winning team, as well category awards such as "Most Innovative", "Best Animation", etc.
  • Whatever else you can think of!!

Please email us at info@coders4charities.org if you would like to sponsor this event.

Thank you!
